Geylang is Singapore’s infamous red light district that’s so much more. Overshadowed by its stereotypes, we’re uncovering stories that celebrate the ordinary lives of the residents who live there.
MEIR Collective and experience design agency The Afternaut have partnered for this placemaking initiative to invite people to uncover surprising experiences in familiar places in Singapore (or places people think they’re familiar with). We hope that people will look beyond the lenses of nostalgia and be inspired to do something meaningful.
